Very High (500 ft) RC-Helicopter Flight Onboard Camera + 3D
First flight with ACME FlyCamOne2 on Thunder Tiger Mini Titan E325.
Includes flight at approx. 150 m (500 ft) height and soft 3D- flying. The heli was so tiny, I could only guess its flight attitude. At the dive I’ve guessed wrong- the roll was the result!
The distorted picture is caused by vibrations, although the heli looks like to be free of vibrations and the Fly Cam is fixed with the original foam plastic. I will try something new at the second flight.

The color distortions only appear at the “Very Funny RC Helicopter Crash” Video.
May be you are right, the camera had a very bad day. It only recorded what you can see in the vid. The sound was completely recorded but the frames were fragmented in slow motion over the hole vid. At the test run before it only recorded some green colored cropped vids. May be caused by the temperature, it was about 18 °C. I have read there are some problems at “deeper” temperatures!

Cool video! I don’t think the camera distortions are caused by any vibrations. It looks like electromagnetic interference due to the high RPM electric motor right next to it. I noticed some color distortions too. Those aren’t caused by vibration.

I’ve tested a new frame for the cam, looks quite good now. Unfortunately the heli crashed caused by a failed autorotation, not that bad, max. costs 100 Euro (150 US-Dollar). Onboard Camera did not record fuck fuck fuck asdfjksdfasfaka#skasg#
External Video coming soon!

I think it’s a cool effect with the vibration. I want to setup my r/c with the same cam.

you ever had a dream where your flying? ok now have you ever had the dream where your running super slow? alright now combine the two, stir, add a fifth of whiskey and that “falling to your death feeling” and you go from zero to stupid in no time flat…that was a trip….awesome
